I’ve got some pothos props growing in water. They’ll be ready to transplant soon. What size pot is best if I have 4 props? Is there a general rule of thumb for pot size based on number of new plants?

It depends on the amount of roots and length of the vine. I usually put 3 to 4 into a 4 inch wide pot if the roots are about 2 inches with one leaf per cutting. They usually need repotting in about three to four months assuming I keep up with fertilizing twice per month and keep consistent with watering. The picture shows cuttings of my Rio Philodendron before they were propagated in water. The white plastic planter pot is 4 inch wide.
4 gillningarPerfect. This is so helpful. Thank you! Mine do just have one or two leaves with roots that are a couple inches or more.
