Anyone know how to propagate aloe? I have a bunch of leaves but I don’t know how to propagate them.

    Aloe can only be propagated from pups or a stem with leaves

      I have a super long stem on my big aloe. It’s crawling out of the pot. I’m afraid it’s going to break off. The roots are only at the bottom of the long stem.

      You can root it if you cut with some of the stem!

    You basically cut a bit of leaf off, let it sit for a while until it callouses, then put it in water to let it grow roots. I’ve also seen people recommend cutting it in a v shape, if that helps

      No, not for an aloe plant. You can propagate from a snake leaf this way but for an aloe plant it needs part of the stem with the leaf.
