UPDATE PICS!!! Hi Friends! Pot size question!! I cut 2 props off my original Dracaena Janet Craig (3 stalks one pot). The two props seem to be doing well and roots are starting to take off (and shoots starting to come off the mama stalks!!!) My question to the group is - if I pot these two baby janets together, what size Pot should I start them in? The mama is 3 stalks in a 12 inch. Should I go 12 or smaller to start and repot in 6-12months?
i would wait untill the roots have roots, especially since that is a bigger plant - its a bit hard to see how many you have, but the more the better. when you do repot though, the rule of thumb is that when you want to use a pot 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball!

I have always cut them, then stuck them into the soil in the same pot and they root and grow happily
