I’m new to plants, been trying my best with this pothos cutting I got on February 19th. I’ve been trying my best, cleaning out the water often, giving it lots of sunlight and just curious if this progress is normal considering it’s been 2 months.

It’s a little slow, but, it looks healthy . It could need more light and fertilizer in the water. I also add SuperThrive plant vitamins. You can plant it when the roots reach 2 inches. I add rooting hormone powder to the pot. 🪴🍀
1 j'aimeRead up on a lot of the reviews and decided to order SuperThrive, hoping to have some good success with it!
1 j'aimeThey make several kinds of plant products. I’ve only used the plant vitamins. I can’t vouch for the rest.
0 J'aimeHonestly I’ve had my cuttings growing for 2 months in the same water with VERY diluted fertilizer and they haven’t complained. I won’t promote doing what I do, but it’s what is working for me atm.
1 j'aimeHi there, this isn’t a pothos but looks more like a philodendron Brasil :) I have a few of these and they are much slower growers compared to pothos. One thing that I find can help is to place the glass inside something that isn’t see-through. When the roots aren’t exposed to light they tend to grow better. Best of luck with your baby! 🌿🌿🌿
1 j'aimeHi, you are right it’s not a pothos but I keep calling it that by mistake as that is what my cousin thought it was… glad to know why it’s not growing as fast as I thought it was supposed to. Thank you for the advice, I’ll give it a shot!
