Hi everybody! My mom gifted me her 4 aloe vera plants that she’s been growing for years. As you can see it’s gotten a little out of control… What’s the best way to clean this up and separate the plants without damaging them? Also, should I wait until next spring to repot since fall season is already here. Would love to hear how you’d tackle this. Thanks!
I don't have an aloe, so no advice other than to wish you luck! That will definitely be a challenge.

Holy cow! What was your mom doing that it grew so big?!!! No advice but can't wait to see how it looks all cleaned up.

Aloe will grow pups and spread like crazy. Theyre blooms are really pretty too. They will get unruly without pruning (I suggest THICK gloves). Neat thing too is it can be eaten and has great medicinal benefits- so prune away!
