Hello! Been steadily growing my houseplant collection, and I received this today (I think it’s an aglaonema?). I considered chucking this in a pot with soil, but now I’m thinking of taking cuttings and propagating them. Where should I cut to get the cuttings for this? Thanks in advance!

You might need to peel some of the dead stuff off the stem to see if there’s any nodes available to propagate from. I can’t really see any in this picture.

I’ll do that now! What am I looking for in terms of nodes - what will they look like?

They look like little warts almost (plant nipples as I call them)

Will look out for them as they (hopefully) grow!

It looks like it has nice roots so you could just divide it into three pots

      Honestly would be easier!

Might do this instead! Have to wait a bit for soil/pots to get delivered but hopefully it’ll survive
