I canāt tell exactly what kind of plant it is but it itās a succulent type as far as I know you can just set them on top of the soil. They donāt actually need to be buried. I just lay mine on top and they eventually grow roots with very little water by the way. And succulents donāt like their leaves to be wet so I wonder if the one that didnāt make it got too wet or something. Iām not an expert at all but that is my experience
3 likesYou may want to unburry it slightly. The new plants generally comes out of the same cut end the roots do. So if its buried it may have a hard time. I tend to over neglect my succulent cuttings, so I always lose a few when I prop. It's not uncommon at all.
0 likesI've been doing Succulent Starts for several years now and all I do is pull of a few leaves of the ones I want and set them on soil and leave them till they sprout. I will mist them a couple times a month but that's about all till they start to grow. I just started these today and I figure it will be atleast 2 weeks before I see any growth. Hope this helps and good luck
