When repotting what I believe is a Chinese Evergreen (pictured), I noticed this guy. It hasn’t grown leaves or anything in months & when I dug it out, noticed it’s not really growing roots either. Is there something I can do to rescue it or propagate using this piece? Or should I just toss?

You could cut off the brown part and try to prop the remaining stem. Do you have rooting hormone? I’ve also heard honey can be used in place of rooting hormone.

I do!! My mom actually gave me some this weekend so that’s perfect timing. I’ll give that a shot. Thank you!
