that new leaf isnāt going to make it but the roots there will grow and youāll be able to get a new plant out of this anyway

1 gillaGive it light. About 12 hours under a grow light will help it grow new roots. Fertilize with a little diluted (50%) fertilizer after the new roots appear.

1 gillaThatās pretty normal, I think. The cutting doesnāt have the resources to grow both roots and a new leaf, so itās letting the new leaf die to prioritize root growth, so it will ultimately survive. I think I count five nodes there and it looks like theyāre all already turning themselves into roots. I donāt know if it good to have extra roots or not, but theyāll be fine if you let them be.
