Any pro monstera propagators on here? My main stem has the leaf going off on its own, it has 2 nodes. The other single leafs don’t appear to have any nodes at all. I’m not sure if I should take the wandering stem/leaf with nodes along with the one leaf attached to it with a node and propagate it. (It IS the main stem of plant) I’m not sure why the other leaves are all bunched together like that. I would like a full looking monstera without renegade leaves. It sits on a high shelf with west and north facing windows within 12” of either direction. Zone 6b, Ohio. I water when almost dry, clean leaves monthly, fertilize with GT foliage with each watering. Chunky soil. Roots seem super healthy. 2 more pics in comments

    Try putting the pole ‘behind’ the plant

    The leaves coming straight from the soil are probably attached to the main vine. They look like they are buried too deeply. I would not expect any new leaf nodes since they are all one plant. Clear the soil from around the base of the leaves. I agree with RJ to train the vine to climb the pole which will require moving the pole or repositioning the vine. 🪴🍀

    I had the same issue, best thing to do is get a large moss pole, make sure the spine of the plant is supported by it the whole way up as it grows rather than letting leaves sprout then supporting, as the leaves will tend to just sprout from anywhere 🙂 I’d maybe also place the plant at a lower level so it’s encouraged to grow up rather than out or down.       My biggest issue is cats. Thus the enclosed cabinets or high up. I’ll start the process described above I may not be a good fit for a monstera due to cats but not ready to give up yet. I love this plant 🥰

      Good luck, definitely still keep trying! Don’t be discouraged to cut the leaves that grow out the wrong way too much for your liking, I snip away all the time when I don’t like the shape and it seems to stay healthy :)
