I’m a fairly new plant mama. This is from one of my first spider plants that I propagated. There was a gap between the soil and the side of the pot, so I pulled it out to look. Should I go ahead and repot? Or wait until spring? Thanks for the help!

I would go ahead and repot since it’s so root-bound

3件のいいねWolfen, I think you are the one that mentioned Great White mycorhizzea. I use it every time I repot, and no matter the season, I’ve never seen repotting shock since.
2件のいいねThis is normal spider plant root system! I would only repot if the looks unhealthy or the roots are blocking drainage. You may be letting it get too dry between watering which is causing shrinkage in the soil so much that it separates from the pot. A good soaking at the next watering time can fully rehydrate the soil. I recommend watching for yellowing if you do choose to repot. It could be a sign the pot is too big or overwatering. 🍀🪴
