My spider plant is finally growing babies!!! When and how should I propagate them or should I leave them bee?
I let my get big then cut off at the red line in my rough drawing. Then I cut close to them right at the base and then this is them now

0개 좋아요Wait until the baby plant puts out lots of roots before cutting it. It gives it a better chance of survival. You can propagate in both soil or water. I like using soil. Hawaiian varieties hold onto their babies a long time. You don’t even have to propagate them. My photo shows an Hawaiian spider plant babies I propagated. It sits in full sun most of the day. So, the variegations are whiter.

좋아요 1개They are very easy to propagate even when they don't have much size but I agree waiting until there are some roots give them a greater chance of developing healthy. Once the plant is large enough they also divide quite easily.
