Jade Propagations :)
Jade Propagations :)
So you don’t have to push them into soil? How long until new plants come?
좋아요 1개Nope! Usually a few weeks and they’ll start to root
좋아요 1개They poke themselves down by themselves? I’m so confused about propogating when there are no nodes
좋아요 1개They create tiny plants where the stem ends!
0개 좋아요Yeah! These are very prolific. They’ll root themselves quite effectively!
2개 좋아요Can you post progress pics? I’ve only propagated jade by nodes, not leaves!
좋아요 1개Yes please do
좋아요 1개Tabi, will this do? Does it matter which side of the leaf is facing the soil? Hump up or hump down (hump = slightly rounded part of leaf). I did hump up
좋아요 1개Looks perfect!!!
0개 좋아요Should I keep the soil wet/damp/moist at all times or what?
좋아요 1개Doesn’t matter! Either way they will root and should start reaching downward. Even if the roots are reaching up for some reason you can always flip it over so they’re going toward the soil.
좋아요 1개Didn’t know you can do it without water!
좋아요 1개Absolutely!! <3
좋아요 1개My kids broke my jade plant last year and all the leaves fell off. I’ve had many pots of jade plant propagations going on since then. Here’s a look at what they do (it’s taken a long time). Also spot the two pieces of Aloe Vera that my kids broke off at the weekend 🙄 🤦♀️
3개 좋아요Hahaha I love it!!
0개 좋아요This little piece is a branch that broke off (long before this recent major hack) and fell to the soil and rooted itself sideways. Sometimes the branches just send out roots into the air for fun lol Cait2k3!is going to have more plants than she knows what to do with at this rate!
좋아요 1개LOL absolutely I agree!
좋아요 1개That’s so cool!
