So I got these off my aunts Chinese money plant. I read on the internet that it should grow roots in water. Is this correct? Has anyone done this and did it work?

    They sure do! Pop those into water and you’ll see roots in no time. Best practice is to change the water weekly so you give your plants fresh oxygen bubbles. Best of luck with your leaf cuttings!

    They won’t grow from the leaf like this. You need a piece of the stalk from the plant. I could be wrong, but in my entire plant life I have never seen this done. I have a Chinese money plant. I have propped it into 3 additional plants. None from a leaf.

    In theory it could work but chances are it won’t. Usually you’ll need a piece of the stalk like Ama said. Worth to give it a try and see!

    Usually you need a node for a cutting to grow roots and grow more of the plant
