Can anyone give some insight into why this heart leaf philo I’ve been propogating for a month and a half is suddenly turning yellow? Two weeks ago it was fully green. Is it just time to pot it?

it probably just doesn’t have enough energy to feed the leaves. it’s focusing all its energy into creating roots. the node will regrow more leaves. if you loose the leaf in the process of propagating i wouldn’t fret. :)

You can plant in soil when the roots are at least 2 inches long. You may still lose the leaf. New leaves will eventually replace it.

I have several heart leaf philodendrons that I’ve propagated from my mother plant. I’ve planted them with the roots only being about an inch long and they’re doing great. They do pretty good in water too. A tough plant for sure! It survived my transition from brown to green thumb!
