I prop corms in moss seems to work great just make sure to check them for growth every now and then incase you have any upside down

2 LikesI do mine in perlite. Remove the outer skin (soak it if needed), and then tip side up, pushed down into wet perlite in a clear box w/lid.
1 LikeThe side you cut it from the plant should face down
1 LikeLooks right. Where you cut it off will grow roots. And the tiny tip will grow shoot

1 LikeI push mine in more too the perlite, so they're almost covered. But I've never done them in moss before
0 LikesThis is actually my first time using moss for anything lol. I just bought it for this little guy. I won the mother plant in a plant trade and I promised the owner I would give him a cutting I reallly hope I don’t fail.
0 LikesThat's awesome! Good luck with them. They are a fun plant to prop.
1 LikeI recently saw a YouTube by Aloha plant life? I think her page is. And she props them in just bottle caps. I know my velvet has some corms growing, so am gonna see how it compares to the perlite

I have done a handful from my Silver dragon. Keep them covered in the moss but not deep. Moss stays moist but not wet so a few sprays every other day or 3 days should be good. They can take a while so don’t get discouraged if it takes weeks to see anything. I had mine under grow lights and they seemed to do pretty well

This was the last pic I took of the latest corm that grew. Just gifted it to my sister but it grew a whole other leaf and got maybe twice that size rather quickly so once you see growth it doesn’t take long
