howdy! today my ceramics teacher was giving away some of her plants, so i took one home with me. i’m pretty sure it’s some sort of poulka dot begonia plant, but im not sure. no roots, so we have it soaking in water right now. does anybody know how i should care for this? what kind of soil does it need? how long does it take for the roots to grow off of a fresh snip? when should i repot her? it’s such a gorgeous plant and the leaves seem very healthy so i don’t want to mess this up, as i’ve just recently started taking care of plants

I have one. I have propagated off her several times. Mine was actually propagated from a coworker. I have in plain potting soil. I propagated in water until roots grew then plant. Very easy to grow. You can propagate and plant as needed because they do tent to get tall and lanky. Good luck

Put the plant in a clear glass of water, not the pottery mug:)
