I helped my grandma trim her rubber plant. She told me I could keep the stuff I cut off. Is water the best way to go about it? Is the piece too big? Do I have enough nodes? Should I cut it into smaller pieces? Thanks for any and all responses!!

    Water or soil. There isn't really a too big for propping. The main part is having a node in the water or soil. And removing the leaves from the node you want roots from so they don't rot in the water or soil

    Plenty of nodes here and I’d just plop it in water! Maybe add a pothos cutting if you have one, for the rooting hormone they release :)

    I struggled with rot on the last cutting I took, I’d suggest letting it callous for a bit before sticking it in water
