Trying to propagate my succulent, I’ve been misting every 1-2 days… am I doing this right? 😂

    you don’t even need to mist. these are designed to spread this way. a leaf falls and it uses the resources it has stored to root. i find rooted leaves behind my stonecrop in the window sill — i’m certainly never misting those 😂

    I usually do the same thing! I mist every 1-2 days . The only difference for me was I put mine in a window sill , and had a cover with some airflow over the top to try and keep the humidity up for them but not too much so they won’t rot . :)

    I agree with @eatyacarbs (and have learned a lot from her 😊). Just let the succulents do their thing. I didn’t really mist mine and they grew on their own and I just potted two of them into their own pot because the “mother leaf” dried out

    I did this, but I kept the soil a bit damp and covered it in a plastic bag. Apperantly you aren’t supposed to do this with succulents- i didnt know it at the time, still worked like a charm I have lots of baby burrows tails

    I have a humidifier (Phoenix is DRY) and set my succulent leaves right under it and they’ve all budded. It’s been MONTHS! I should probably get them into soil.
