Hi lovelies! So I’m relatively new to propagation and I have been propogating a ZZ plant. Does anyone know at what point I should plant her in some soil? Tysm 🫶

    I am not an expert, but I would say wait for the roots to be a tiny bit longer. You will need patience with this one. I propagated one long time ago and it was only after about 2 years that it started sending off a baby shoot.

    Once they develop secondary roots (will look like little white hairs growing out of the main roots) they should be good to go! Make sure the soil is thoroughly wet when you pot them because they’ll be used to growing in water 🙌🏻

    How cool, I didn't know you could do leaf propagating on these. With propagations I wait for about 2 inches of roots. I haven't propagated a zz before though. I would just make sure it's in a small pot starting off. Something like a 3inch.
