I have a bunch of succulent leaves propagating and a few have started to grow on their own 😊 I’m wondering if I should be misting the soil? I started off misting when I first started the propagations a little over a month ago. But then read I shouldn’t do that until roots grow. So I stopped watering them and have left them alone for a few weeks. I’m also reading to continue to let them be until the “mom leaf” has been soaked out of all its natural water and only water when it’s time to plant the new succulent in its own pot. Any advice? Does it matter? FYI I used rooting hormone on all these and I believe that’s residue still on the fuzzy leaf in the bigger pot (the one that looks like it only has roots and no leaf growth..?)

a little mist won’t hurt them here and there. remember with succs that this is how they thrive in their native extreme climates. they’re tough and self-sufficient and quite good at propagating themselves by design

I read a comment you posted once about finding loose leaves behind your plants on your windowsill and they started propagating on their own until you found them lol. I’ve been thinking to leave them be since they seem to be doing well. I’m trying to find the fun in experimenting but also want them to succeed lol
