Any tips for moving water props to soil? I have been up and down with my Monstera Dubia but putting the plant in water saved it. It now has long strong roots and new leaves. I want to move it into my Lizard’s vivarium but am afraid of killing it from shock. I’ve heard adding soil slowly to the water can make for a smoother transition- anyone had luck with this? Thanks!!
Have you thought about something like LECA? I've seen it marketed as a substrate for reptile and amphibian enclosures in addition to a planting medium, so I'm wondering if it'd be a happy medium for your dubia.
0 J'aime Ive heard of it! Some people use it for the drainage layer under a screen, but for my reptile he needs high humidity and soil to burrow in. Its hard to balance the needs of both plant & animal, im now seeing why a lot of people use fake plants with their reptiles 😅
