Can someone help me out here - what is this little specimen and what should I do with them?
That is an Aerial Root! Monsteras grow them naturally, you could do many things with it, Iâve seen many options and the plant is still thriving Option 1: get a moss pole and wrap it around the moss pole for support Option 2: place it in a cup of water until it develops actual roots and then bury it (people claim this method has shown the best results in growth) Option 3: you can simply cut it off.

If you get a true moss pole (not a coco coir pole) your plant will send roots into it and youâll get bigger leaves. Wrapping this around something wonât do anything for the plant except maybe break the root
