What may be causing my snake plant cuttings to yellow? I took the cuttings about 2 weeks ago from healthy leaves, cut a V-shape in the bottom, let the cuttings dry and callous for a few days then put them in soil. They’ve been under a grow light since then. Is it a bad sign for them to turn yellow and how could I fix ? It’s my first time propagating snake 🐍 plants. Thank you all!!

do you live in a humid environment? i’ve had to let my snake plant cuttings callous for at least a week to prevent rot. due to local humidity, a few days is not enough for the wound to heal properly

I have used a humidifier for the last few weeks, yeah. I read an article to let the cuttings callous for 1-2 days, but I didn’t know-consider the humidity factor. 😔

I’ll try again with new cuttings, let them dry for a week. Thanks for the reply!
