Help!! I just bought this plant today (if anyone knows what it is please let me know) and I went to seperate the baby and all the roots fell off! Should I stick these in water or soil or what should I do?!! Thanks in advance😩🙏🏼

    It is a type of snake plant. You can likely stick the baby in soil it has a root that should grow. As for the big guy with no roots I’m sure there is a way, maybe let it callous over first and stick it in water. I’m not an expert at propagating snake plants. I’m sure the one with a root should do okay but not sure how to get the other to grow new roots. Keep in mind with the little guy, they don’t like a lot of water, prefer to dry out completely, and will be fine if they are forgotten for a few weeks.

      You were right you callous it first then put it in water

    I would let things dry out a bit and callous over and pot it up tomorrow. I would put the other part in. Not sure if it will root. This is a type of snake plant but I am unsure of the variety

    U can try putting it in water to see if it will root my aloe plant did the smae but is rooting now
