i started these carrots about three weeks ago, and i had them covered by the lid, they are getting too long, this is my first time making carrots. please don’t judge. should i bring them outside now? it’s been in the 40s to 50° where I live or should I just leave them in my window like normal and just take off the lid? also, do you think they need a bigger pot? With soil? because i can just take them out of those little sections and keep them in the green part with soil.

    for now i’m going to leave the lid off. i do daily gently pull apart the stems so they don’t strangle each other

    Sometimes the seedlings wilt from too much heat or humidity or too little light/air flow. Lack of sufficient light can make them grow stringy. I recommend using a meter to show the temperature and humidity in that location. Adding a grow light for 10 hours will regulate the amount of light they get. 🍀🪴

      ok thank you! i checked inside and the humidity with the lid is 76%, the temps about 72. without the lid the humidity is 48%, but i also just look the lid off it will probably be in the 30’s without the lid for a while

      A temperature of 72 deg F is not too high. The humidity at 76 percent may be too high and 30 percent seems low. Try propping open the lid to get the humidity back in the 40 percent range.
