Hi! This is my lemon-lime heartleaf philodendron, which I propagated on October 2nd. Lately, I have noticed the leaves are starting to turn brown. I am still new to propagating and not sure what is going wrong. I would really appreciate any advice or tips on how to help her thrive!
is there any drainage in the pot/cup it’s in? i’d start there. no drainage means rot. if you propped straight into soil it’s gonna struggle at first due to shock and lack of roots, if it keeps dying i’d recommend propping in water until there are secondary roots and then pot it up. philos like this are typically hardy when straight to soil propping so it may bounce back if you wait it out.

That type of browning is often too much watering. In that its staying too damp for too long.

0개 좋아요 Yeah, the little pot has one drainage hole in the middle. I have only watered it once since propagating - the soil was really dry and the stems started drooping.
