So excited to have babies! I’m just not sure when I’m supposed to move them from here to pots. Any suggestions on my next step?

I would leave them until the “mother” leaf has dried out indicating the new plants has used up all the nutrients in the big leaves. The new plants will be bigger and easier to move without damaging the delicate roots.

Thank you! It is so hard to have the patience to wait. These have been 2 months growing.

I’ve been wondering the same about my jade babies, this is great advice.

It takes sooo long. Like sunny said. I wait till the explant leaf starts to wither and the plantlet has good roots, then i nip them off and plant

Find lots of friends to give them out to! 😝

And really good light helps baby succulents succeed. I like to put them right under grow lights 😁👍🏻

How did you do that?? My succulents always die!! Propagations and even they struggle before I try that. All my propagations grew baby roots and then just died with no new plant

Honestly, I didn’t know what I was doing. My plant got knocked over and all the leaves came off. Figured I would try and propagate with no real expectations. I let the callous over for a few days and then laid them on the soil. I have tried to keep the conditions like they would get if they fell off the plant in the wild. Spritz with water ever few days and add a little more than a spritz every other week or so. I did need to have serious patience. This pic is 3 months after starting.

Don’t water them at all until the main leaf they grow from dies off. Some of mine will only grow roots too but eventually they die or grow a new baby. You can place them in a pan with no soil when trying to get babies. That’s the best ones I’ve grown so far.

I’ve never been more excited than when my succulents start growing babies. Such a proud mom here! They look just like yours. 🥰🥰🥰
