I started this the first week of October, and with this method am just now starting to see tiny air roots and little plantlings. So, if you use this method for leaves, don’t give up, it takes three months or so to see much. I’m definitely wondering if it would have been better to cover the end of the leaf with a small dusting of soil from the start.

Putting soil on top doesn’t really speed up the process from my experience and yes it does take a while to see anything happen but I still can’t help but picking up each individual leaf every day to see any new growth 🤦‍♀️😂

I generally don't see too much of a difference from laying on top vs pushing the callused end into perlite. So I generally go with lazy and just lay them on top 😆

Well now I know I'm not the only one who checks ask the time lol. Did you put cinnamon on top of the soil?

Yes, I ordered some plants in, and acquired gnats. 🙄
