I have a pothos cutting with a node that has propogating in water, but when i went to change the water the node fell off! Can it still grow roots? What can i do to save it?

That’s very unfortunate. I’d still keep it in the water to hope that it might grow a root still, even though it’s less likely. If you want you could maybe try some rooting hormone if you have it lying around, but it’s still not guaranteed. Not much to do but hope for the best!

In my experience, the nodes are more adapt at being air roots. Strings of white roots will still grow.
