I’m trying to propagate my Zz plant. I’ve seen this is the way you do it but I’ve never done it. Any tips?

    Make sure the leaf still gets sunlight. Be prepared to have patience, ZZs can take months to root at times. I suggest once you have an inch or so of root growth go ahead and pot in it a small nursery pot to let the roots continue growing.

      They take forever. I have some propagations I started a year ago. They have roots and the little potatoes, but nothing new has grown from there yet.

      if it’s in liquid try a fertilizer, I’ve had better success transferring to soil once they are decently rooted. I believe others have as well. here’s a screenshot since I can’t post the link

      Thanks so much! Trying to prop a ZZ as well and will adjust lighting and humidity.
