I have numerous annuals in a shade bed in my front yard that I have decided to try and propagate from cuttings. In the spring I will harden them and replace this year’s (now dead) plants with the propagations. So far I have Coleus, Angel Wings and Creeping Jenny that I’m working with to return to the garden. Since I am new to this I am wondering if I should be adding plant food to the water? I have an aero garden that I have used for herbs and still have plant food so am wondering if it would be beneficial?

Make sure they get sufficient light. The light intensity should be similar or slightly less than to the intensity they were getting outside without burning. Fertilize with liquid fertilizer and SuperThrive liquid plant vitamins when they get roots. They will grow better with warmer temperatures and higher humidity. 🍀🪴

Thanks Sunny! I have them opposite the windows in the brightest room in the house. We live in Tennessee so humidity is never a problem. 😜 I’m sure Planta thinks the space is too dark because I get lots of warnings in various rooms of my home but I have both Zz and Snake plants in the same space and they are both pushing new shoots so I should be good to go.
