Should this be propagated in water? Monstera Variegeta cutting, I estimate ~ 8 inches in length. Taken from a much larger plant that lives outside on my oak tree.

    Water propagation would probably work, but perlite or moss might be a better alternative, as I tend to find variegated plants rot in water sometimes

      i have it in a jar along with pothos in the hopes the pothos' rooting hormones can speed up the process. i unfortunately do not have perlite
