I bought my 1st corm (it was the only way I could afford a black velvet pink ver Alocasia). What do I do now!? How long does the cup cover stay on? How do I know when it’s time to put her in soil? Thanks in advance!

It doesn’t have to stay in the cup it’s in but in my experience keeping humidity high is very helpful to corms. Even so much as a plastic bag over the top of it that you gradually poke holes in as you see growth to slowly acclimate it to your homes average humidity. Don’t let it dry out, sometimes I think perlite can be a difficult substrate for corms because it doesn’t retain moisture well I see people have lots of success with things like stratum but honestly I just use good old long fiber spagnum in a cloche for my corms. That being said I do have baby alocasias that are doing fine in perlite it’s just something to think about.
