Hi! I’m propagating some pothos in water and I need some advice on how to. My other ones died and I have no clue why. Thanks!

Cuttings must have at least one node and a mature leaf, make sure the node is always under water/medium you’ve chosen. Keep in bright indirect light. Change water when it gets grimy if propping in water.

Thanks! What is a node though?

Cut where my pointer finger is..... the nodes (in between my pointer and thumb) are where leaves or roots will grow. Youll want to remove the leaf between my pointer and thumb, and put that portion in water. You remove this leave(s) because they will rot under water. Then change your water every week

Place the cutting in a bright indirect light and a warm area. It’s better to have a larger jar or container of water instead of the narrow test tubes that need frequent water changes and don’t allow much room for roots to grow. Fertilize when the roots grow out. I also add SuperThrive plant vitamins with the fertilizer whenever I change the water. Plant it when the roots are at least 2 inches long.🍀🪴
