Am I on the right track here with my snake plant cutting propagation?? It's been about a month or two I think but I've read that 2-4 months should be seeing roots potentially? It's in an east facing window in refreshed water every 5-7 days with prop drops added. They're like little hairs so I think it looks promising but unsure

Okay that's what I thought they were!!!! I tried googling it but couldn't find this stage of them before full on roots. I'm propagating it in just water, should I start adding soil or perlite to get it used to it for when I transplant it in a few months?

I’m not sure, never propped a snake plant. You Tube and Reddit can be great sources for tips!

Snakes take months to root, but I have the absolute best luck in fluval stratum! They root much quicker. Let them dry and not stay sitting in water 24/7 or they can get mushy before rooting. I have propagated dozens of snakes with success!
