      Oh yeah, I touched the node and it fell apart definitely rotted. Thank you for letting me know!

    Next time you take a cutting, leave it out for 48hrs before putting it in water! This prevents rotting via callouses.

    You can also dip the end in wax or put glue on it to seal it off from rotting as the roots grow through nodes on the side of the leaves not the bottom!
