This WAS a spider plant. All of the leaves yellowed and fell off on their own so I took it out of the pot. I noticed the root system was very healthy..so I decided to repot just the roots in fresh potting soil and sit in the east-facing window sill. Think anything will come of it or should I toss it?
I would just get another spider plant. Keep it in a pot with lots of drainage holes to prevent root rot. It’s highly unlikely that the old roots alone will push out a new plant. It’s not a corm, bulb or rhizome that can stay dormant out of the soil, then, produce a plant after planting. A healthy new plant is a fresh start and less aggravating. 🪴🍀
