Yesterday I got to take a cutting of this Begonia Richmondensis. It was living on a shady front porch in Monterey Ca. Micro climate is foggy and the mother plant is spectacular. I brought it home and clipped lower leaves and stuck it in water to propagate. I will be clipping the flowers off. Should I try a different style of propagation?

The mother plant. Melanie had a deer come right up on her porch and chomp it’s sister down.

I’ve had more luck with begonias in water than anything else, they grow beautiful spider-web roots decently quickly :)
