Should I use wet perlite or just stick them in water?? They don’t seem to love being in soil after they’ve been in water for a long time! Or should this be my new water forever baby?

My experience has been that if in water for quite some time the roots aren’t strong enough to tolerate soil & they struggle to adapt. She looks healthy….maybe she prefers being a “water” baby 😄
2 J'aimeI actually think I will because I have so many cute jars!
0 J'aimeGet some Lecca. That will allow her to get more nutrients and still stay more air/water til she gets stronger
2 J'aimeOkay I have some lecca I tried it once and they got moldy!
0 J'aimeI’d try the water bc I had to try many times before they’d even form roots. You have to bury them pretty deep.
1 j'aimeI also got moldy roots bc they weren’t buried deep enough.

In my experience with this exact cultivar …I just chopped it when it got too long and shoved the chops into the soil and they rooted in a week or less. straight into soil. And kept it a bit moist. Rooted super fast in medium light. The soil was kinda icky and old too idk the purple wandering tradescantia is tough.
