Found this little tradescantia clipping in the planter of another purchase and decided to give it a chance. I’ve never propped before and it’s actually working! Rooted after a few weeks and I’ve added fertilizer, so far so good. It started out with three leaves. â˜ș

    Well done! What’s the braided thing that’s propping it up? I’m very new to indoor plant parenthood so picking up tips as I go along.

      I think it just hilds the prop up so it doesnt drown

      It looks like a twisted wire to me. Hopefully Jack can chime in.

      Yes! It’s just a bit of 10 gauge craft wire I had on hand from another project. It was such a small prop to start with that this helped me angle the little guy and keep it balanced

      That's awesome, I have the small test tube prop station. But with a few tiny props I still end up jerry-riggin something with foil and a stake 😆 I'll have to try this
