I’m seeking advice on propagating or trimming my purple waffle plant. I got this plant in a fairy garden in October 2023. As it grew, I kept adding posts to support it. Then I read more about it and learned these plants are typically ground cover or hanging plants. If this were your plant, what would you do?

If you can put it up against a wall you could use plant hooks to guide it up a wall. I’ve used tiny command hooks and scotch tape successfully

Mine looks the same and I use small trellis behind it as it grows it attaches another trellis. After my next trellis I will cut down and keep it trimmed at that height. I will have to learn how to propagate it though. That sounds interesting to try.
