I just noticed that my Neon Pothos has started to revert its variegated pattern. It starts losing that neon color. Is this normal, and what could be affecting the variegation?

It is about a 40-60 percent chance I believe for them to lose that variegation. I have no clue as to why that happens on a scientific scale, but just a fun bit of knowledge from the master gardeners association!!!

1 likeVariegated pothos need bright indirect light to maintain the variegation. The newer leaves on my marble queen and especially my snow queen got darker during winter with less light. I also have a reverted golden pothos that I bought with all solid green leaves. It reversed itself after a few months getting late afternoon direct sun outside.
