Lucky bamboo propagation? My plants tall now and debating getting another one or two from Ikea to add to her but I’m wondering how easily I could prop her..

    Lucky bamboo are fairly easy to propagate. You can probably get several out of that long stem. Leave the bottom one in the soil, cut it off maybe 5 in above the soil and then cut the rest of the stem into pieces that contain at least three or four nodes. Make sure you know which way is up and place the segments in water with at least one or two nodes out of the water. It can take 30 days for it to root and the roots are red or at least some of them are red. Good luck

      Thank you! Do bamboo cuttings need to calus before putting in water?

    No I don't think so. I believe you can just put it directly into the water but it's best to use distilled water or filtered water or rainwater.
