Hello everyone I’m very new to plants I was gifted a monstera but it had rotting and was told to propagate I “thought” I let it dry for 12 hours or so not sure where to go from here :( any help would be great!🖤

    It doesn’t look like there is any node, which is where the roots would grow from when propagating. You can’t propagate from just a leave and stem usually u need some kind of node

    i think you might be able save the second. it will be a slow burn, but i’d cut off the rotted end, while preserving under that crease as much as possible! i would personally put this one in soil

    my bunnies tore my favorite monstera leaf off of my plant and it looked like your first pic (no node, but without the rot). i have no idea how it happened, but i threw it in water i had another monstera cutting in as a hail mary and it rooted 😭
