HELP These Hoya Bella’s have been rooted in my fish tank and they have really taken off!! They are from my grandmas original Hoya Bella, and I want to have them as my centrepiece at my wedding!! How do I move these to soil without them dieing? I also have leca ( which I haven’t had much success with yet) if that would work better before moving to soil?

Whenever I prop from water, I will start adding potting soil to the water, 1 tablespoon every day, until it’s practically just wet soil. At that point, I’ll either leave it until the soil dries up a bit or go ahead and repot, watering every day or so. Once I see the plant is growing a little, I’ll officially repot it. Hoyas are more forgiving generally so you might be able to add soil at a faster pace, speed up the process. Usually this takes 2, 3 weeks, but I’ve never lost a plant due to shock this way.

You can rooting hormone powder and put it straight into a chunky mix or one with lots of aggravate like perlite which are best for hoyas that don’t do well in standard potting mix. See my hoya pic. Standard potting mix holds too much water.
