πŸ’šπŸ₯¬πŸŒ±πŸ«‘πŸ€ŽπŸ’šπŸ₯¬πŸŒ±πŸ«‘πŸ€ŽπŸ’šπŸ₯¬πŸŒ±πŸ«‘πŸ€ŽπŸ’š Nothing is better than waking up on your day off and planting seeds! I used all burpee supplies and the seed brands I used are Pennington, Ferry~Morse, Burpee and Seeds of Change. My seed soil mix is 1/3 Peat Moss (for nutrient balance), 1/3 Coconut Coir (for drainage), and 1/3 Vermiculite (for moisture retention). Got this recipe from Jiffy. Very excited to see them sprout. Right now they are in my greenhouse I bought from Amazon for $65. I will update you guys when something sprouts! I’m going to water daily using a spray bottle or squeeze bottle. I planted Kale, rosemary ,chamomile, basil, sweet peppers, cilantro, micro greens, lemon balm, butterfly milkweed, echinacea, snapdragons, cosmos, peas, lettuce, peppermint, and beans. (P.s. highly recommend listening to these songs while seeding: β€œBack to the Earth” by Jason Mraz, β€œFallingwater” by Maggie Rogers, β€œPlants” by Crumb, and β€œHidden in the Sand” by Tally Hall.) πŸ’šπŸ₯¬πŸŒ±πŸ«‘πŸ€ŽπŸ’šπŸ₯¬πŸŒ±πŸ«‘πŸ€ŽπŸ’šπŸ₯¬πŸŒ±πŸ«‘πŸ€ŽπŸ’š

Omg I love that you have a playlist. Best of luck with your plants! Just wanted to comment that while there might be a few different brands, I used a greenhouse like that to overwinter some plants in south Ontario (CAN) and I was super impressed! Those things are great!

Hey , happy planting! I am a beginner in gardening and recently planted some cilantro seeds for germinating in these kind of trays. They started germinating after about 6-7 days. I tried relocating the tray and accidentally dropped the soil out of the tray along with the germinations. Although I tried as carefully as i could to put them back into the tray, I am really worried if this would affect them. Please help me if you know anything about how to handle this. Thanks !!

That happened to me and my lettuce a few years back, so this is what I did and they more or less did good: I started straying them with a spray bottle again because if you pour water in the containers with a watering can the seeds will just float around because their roots aren’t as strong as they were. Then I’d recommend adding a couple more seeds into the containers just as redemption seeds, you don’t need to germinate them in the trays just sprinkle them into the cilantro’s container.

Hey, thanks for the tip. Some of them grew well but some plants’ stem just thinned and drooped down and died. For now, I am left with very less that are still alive. I am hoping to learn what mistakes I did with this batch.
