      Np, I always wanna be safe w cuttings since there's a good chance that they don't take in enough water when put in soil prematurely

    I try to wait for at least 2 inches of roots before moving to soil as a general rule of thumb! Less has worked, but personally I feel the 2 inch cut off gives me better success.

    i agree with the other commenters- the general rule of thumb when it comes to roots is at least 2 roots that are 2 inches long and have 2 secondary roots (little roots growing off of roots). however, since it is a pretty big plant i'd wait for bigger roots (maybe around 5 inches) just so that it doesn't topple over in the pot. i hope this helps! :)
