How large does a “mini” Monstera get?
0 Mi piaceNot sure hers was about 2 feet tall
1 mi piaceDo you know how old it was?
0 Mi piaceWow! That’s a really nice start; have fun, as you watch it grow!
1 mi piaceThe plant in the pic is a regular monstera deliciosa. Mini monsteras are actually not monsteras at all, their scientific name is raphidophora tetrasperma.
2 Mi piaceTo answer your question, the cutting should produce a leaf from the top node of the bottom node is buried. You might get a leaf from the bottom node since the cutting is short. I wouldn’t even cut off the top roots to see if they can get water to the cutting even with only the tips of the top roots buried.
3 Mi piaceThanks so much I will pop it in dirt and see what happens
3 Mi piaceI have done this before and yes it worked!
3 Mi piaceYou can try putting it on its side and partially bury the side with most roots.
