Hi, new here. OK so, I have a LOT of little pieces from various succulents. I read to just lay them in soil and mist them every couple of days, but I just donāt think anything is happening. Any suggestions?

Those came from doing that exact thingš it definitely works keep leaves in part sun part shade though they can burn with to much direct sunlight
3 gillningarDo I press them down in soil like a plant with existing roots? Or do I just lay them on top of the soil? Iām completely new to succulents š
0 gillningarU wanna make sure the base of the leaves are touching soil but no need to press downš
1 gillaOk let me go redo them lol
3 gillningarYou should start seeing roots within a week or two, the mother leaves will fall off and shrivel when the new baby plant is done using its nutrients to grow
2 gillningarWow, theyāre so cute!
3 gillningarWould these grow well in one of those hanging terrarium looking globes? The glass ones with openings in the sides?

Keeping them somewhere relatively warm also helps with how quickly they start
2 gillningarYes! I keep mine in the patio
1 gillaI try to keep them as warm as I can, but these nights here are still dropping in the 50s
1 gillaThen, keep them inside under a grow light for about 10 hours if it is too cold at night. A single ring grow light costs under $20. I have even used an LED desk lamp as a grow light. I just put it within 6 inches of the plant and put it on the whitest light setting.
0 gillningarIām trying to prop succulents too, Iām not seeing anything but I think they just need time!!
